Dave Robert Rosamond entered the world 'as blue as a blue bag' in the words of his mom Dot Rosamond. Both mom and baby could have died as a result of her having toxemia (can be deadly to mom and baby) but luckily for us the lil Rozza made it and so did Dot. Sadly the traumatic birth meant that the lil Rozza would be the only child that his mom and dad Derek would have. Dave Rosamond went on to thrive and be a healthy child. Attended Acocks Green Infant and Junior School progressing to Lode Heath High School. The 15th birthday indicated the year that would grant him freedom from school and his first taste of work after getting himself a full time job as a shop assistant at Harry Parkes Sport shop in Birmingham city centre. And then the young Daveyboy and a friend decided that the shores of Jersey was about to be graced with a couple of young Brummies :)
